SUMMER FAIR

WARNING:  If you are hungry, do not read this post.  It will make you so hungry you will run to your kitchen and devour everything in your pantry.  Or, maybe only I did that!!

With this pregnancy I have been craving salty, sour things.  For weeks now I have been begging Geoff to take me to a carnival or fair for some greasy, salty, delicious, fresh cut french fries and fresh squeezed, pulp filled lemonade!!  Doesn’t that sound delicious?!  To this pregnant lady, nothing has sounded better.  So last Friday we loaded up our car and made the trek to the Ohio State Fair.  We could not have asked for a better evening.  The weather has been unusually cool for Ohio in July, but it was perfect for an evening of outside walking.  We enjoyed lots of yummy food, playing carnival games (we should have just handed them our money and walked away because you just never win those games!), watching a couple street shows, visiting the livestock animals, and so much more!!

^^Geoff took Taden through the little petting zoo they had set up.  They even had zebras, a camel and a water buffalo!

^^He was just mesmerized by everything around him.  The lights, the people, the shows, the animals!

^^Did I say the food was amazing?!  We ate so much food!  Everywhere you turned there was fried-this and fried-that.  We choose to not focus on the calories we were taking in but to focus on our taste buds.

^^Even Taden wanted some of the food.  Yes my almost-one-year-old does not have any teeth.  But, we are currently cutting two this week!!
