I am an introvert.
I enjoy me. I enjoy spending time with myself. I enjoy silence. I enjoy being outdoors, by myself. Now don’t get me wrong, I also love people! I love my family. I love planning activities and events for us to do together. I love being with friends. But, I also love “me time.”
This evening my wonderful husband took charge of the home and bedtime duties to let me take my camera and head to the park to practice my shooting skills. What a wonderful evening it was! I came home and felt so refreshed. I spent a couple of hours to myself, in the quiet surroundings of beautiful parks and fresh air all around. I was able to keep my thoughts flowing with no interruptions, or not think about anything if I wanted to. It was wonderful to just be with me! It was also so wonderful to have the opportunity to sharpen my photography skills. I am totally an amateur, but I am trying to work on developing this skill.
Here are a few of my snapshots!
^^When I stumbled upon this I instantly smiled! I love the bright chalk colors and the specific drawings – a sun smiling, a flower, random squiggles, a heart and peace sign. All happy, bright things! It definitely put a smile on my face.
^^How I ended my night. Could it have been anymore perfect?!
