This past Labor Day we headed to Young’s Jersey Dairy Farm for an afternoon of fun and homemade ice cream!! I remember visiting Young’s as a child when all that existed at the farm was a small petting zoo, the restaurant and the ice cream shop. Now Young’s is a small amusement park with its own miniature golf course, driving range, batting cages, rides for small children and don’t forget the petting zoo and ice cream shop still exist!! There was so much to do and I foresee this being a place our family visits every year.
^^Look at those two front teeth coming in!
^^Taden had no fear and kept trying to pet all the animals in arms reach through the petting zoo.
^^Now this is what I remember as a kid!! The ice cream tasted just as I remembered! #thisiswhyicame
^^I would say Taden enjoyed the ice cream just as much as I did! He is trying to lick his lips/face in this picture to get all the ice cream. It was hysterical to watch him eat the ice cream.
All in all I would say it was a great afternoon at Young’s! After our fun at Young’s we stopped at great-grandma and grandpa Stevens house for a quick visit. It is always so nice to see them and we had a lot of fun catching up. We had such a fun Labor Day with our little, growing family!
What did your family do for Labor Day weekend?
We stopped at Young's Dairy Farm almost every year on our way to 4-H camp!! Taden definately liked the ice cream and the pictures show off those teeth that are popping out!!
