Fall is in full gear at The Stevens’!! We have had our fall décor up for weeks, caramel apple and/or cranberry spice brewing in the kitchen, and sweaters out for weeks!! This is my favorite time of the year (except the week Christmas decorations go up!) because I love the crisp, cool air and yummy treats that come with it.
A couple of weekends ago we enjoyed headed to Niederman Family Farm for an adventurous corn maze, trailing through a pumpkin patch, a bumpy hayride, exploring the barnyard animals and then ended our evening with a dozen (yes, a dozen!), freshly baked cinnamon donuts. It could not have been any more perfect! Taden is at the age where outings such as this stimulate him and he had such a good time! We had so much fun with this couple, and not just because it is nice to have extra hands to help with this little guy!! They are just wonderful!
^^He also had fun playing with rocks and corn stalks! This kid is all boy. He loves playing in the dirt, picking up sticks and throwing balls or anything he can get his hands out. I love watching him play and learn every day with everything.
^^One of the largest pumpkin patches I have ever seen! The pumpkins were HUGE and there were so many to choose from. Tate loved walking through the patch and playing in the dirt.
We have been making the Niederman Family Farm a Stevens’ tradition for years! This year was so fun seeing Tate interact with all they had to offer. I am ready for next year to come already – with our family of four!!
What are traditions you do with your family?
