All week I work really hard to make sure
all most of the household chores, laundry, grocery shopping, and other not-so-fun activities are done before the weekend (this does not always happen, but is a goal of mine each week!), so that Saturday can be our family day. We try to plan a fun activity to do as a family (sometimes that does consist of nothing; just sitting around the house in our pjs is a great activity!) and spending the day together. I love watching my boys play and interact and seeing Taden’s face light up when he gets his dad for an entire day!
Last Saturday it was 60 degrees (we rounded up!) in November!! We had to take advantage of the last Fall day and so we headed to the park! It was such a fun day and I was so thankful I grabbed my camera before we headed out to capture these fun memories!
See Part I of our adventures below…
^^I am trying to get better about stepping away from behind my lens to make sure I am in some of the pictures! I do not want Taden to wonder ‘where Mommy was’ in all of his pictures when he looks back [Me almost 6 months prego with Baby Stevens #2]
This little one had a BLAST! In fact, we all did!! When our adventures were complete, Geoff and I both stepped into the car, looked at each and just smiled. It was such a fun day and we all were exhausted from laughing and giggling so much! I can’t wait to see what next Saturday has in store for our family!! (hopefully more outdoor activities, but I am not holding my breathe!)
