Earlier this week I consolidated a list of Christmas traditions our family is in the process of making (or just to inspire me to make) this year. From my list here our family completed #10.
Here are a few photos from our visit to the PNC Festival of Lights last Friday. It was a beautiful, cold, wintery night. An absolutely perfect night for holding hands with your hubby, walking around, sipping hot chocolate together! But, maybe not the best night to bundle up your toddler and push him around in the cold. We made the trek anyway, with lots and lots of layers!
^^Our little bundle!! He seems uninterested in this picture, but he really did love the lights and was absolutely mesmerized.
^^We made stops to the inside exhibits. Our first stop was to visit the insect house. Taden loved the pipes running through the building with the ants crawling through them.
^^Rose-y cheeks and noses warming up.
^^The best family picture we were able to get. Any one have suggestions on how to get a toddler to cooperate during family shots, I am all ears!!
^^Crackers to entertain, though his little fingers froze. Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how to keep mittens and/or gloves on a toddler, again I am all ears!
^^We had the perfect ending to our evening – hot apple cider to warm our chilly, little bodies.
What a fun night and tradition we have begun. I cannot wait to cross off more traditions from our Stevens Christmas Traditions List.
What are some of your favorite family traditions?
