In continuation with yesterday’s post, see here, about the vast amount of energy Tate has…
While we were in Florida last week, one afternoon the boys went golfing (actually almost every afternoon they went golfing) and so my mother and I took Tate to a park close by. It is a rather large park with a specific area for ‘bigger’ kids and another for ‘littler’ kids. There were swings, a rock climbing area, bobble racecar seats, a teeter totter, and more. The perfect setting for any child. But, Tate was not interested in any of it! All he wanted to do was run, run around and throw dirt, sticks, leaves, anything that was on the ground. Literally anything on the ground! My mother and I kept trying to get him interested in the play ground but we had no such luck!
^^”All this ‘stuff’ on the ground is for me to pick up in fistfuls, right?!”
^^A quarterback? A pitcher? Or just an ornery kid?!
^^How could you ever say “no” to that face, though?!
^^My mother trying to get him interested in the play area. No luck, except, in the picture below is the only area he enjoyed because it had big holes where he could drop/throw rocks and mulch into and watch them fall to the ground. I constantly wonder all day what he is thinking when he does things like this. It is amazing to sit back and watch your kids learn and connect things around them.
^^He is getting sooo big!! Geoff and I say that to each other at least every other day!! Turning into such a cute little man (totally bias, though).
Though it is becoming increasingly more difficult to keep up with this little one 33+ weeks pregnant, I am so grateful for his energetic, cheerful spirit and wouldn’t have it any other way.
