Grace (my all-time-favorite-mommy-blogger) is hosting a wedding song link-up so I’m going to reminisce about that day with you on here just for a little bit (boring I know, you can skip to another post and I won’t mind).

It is hard to believe I have been married to this hunk-of-a-man for 4 1/2 years, with two kids later, a few moves around the same city, a couple job changes, an MBA later and so many other memories made. I wish I would have written down more soon after our wedding day to remember the feelings and memories made. I do remember, though, how happy I felt that day marrying my best friend, the man of my dreams. I felt like the luckiest girl and still do. I love this guy and making memories with him… speaking of… that was our wedding song (pun definitely intended) –> “Making Memories of Us” by the one, the only Keith Urban. Geoff had the song playing when he proposed and it just seemed appropriate to be our first dance. No real sentimental, lovey meaning behind it. We just liked it!

Mushiness is over!! Now… for some pictures. Boy do we look young here. That’s what two kids will do to you I guess!!

^^Getting our groove on. Does anyone actually say that anymore?! … I’m getting old.

^^Dancing with my Daddy.

^^I do not think I have ever posted this picture. How cool is it?! My husband played golf in college and was a pro for a few years so a picture incorporating the golf course was definitely a must. Our wedding party was such a good sport!!

Check out our anniversary post if you missed it!

Thanks for the link-up Grace and for any of you that actually took the time to read this entire reminiscing, mushy post!!

  1. I love that song! It was vetoed for our wedding because of the line "learn from your Pa." My husband couldn't get past it. :)

    1. That is too funny!! We are not big country fans but somehow was the song we settled on.

  2. This is so sweet, and I love your dress! I had such a hard time trying to find one that wasn't strapless when we got married! Congratulations on your two sweet babies! Here's to many more years! :)

    1. Thank you!! We are excited about our growing family :)
