PREGNANCY UPDATE: 16 WEEKS


A few pregnancy updates:

Eating: I have been trying to eat better and more balanced meals in the second trimester. Most days I fail at it, but I am eating better than the first trimester of survival! Biggest cravings lately are tacos, Doritos, pickles, cheese and grapes. All random but oh so good to me right now!!

Feeling: I have been feeling more and more little flutters and movements! I can already tell this baby is going to be active as most movements come in packs for minutes and minutes!! 

Aches or Pains: Still struggling with lower back pressure but feeling much relief with yoga, barre and lots of stretching. On another note, my feet have already begun to swell and ache! I had zero swelling with Tate and a little bit the last couple of weeks with Maddie but this pregnancy is proving to be different in many ways! I spend most nap times lying on the couch with my feet up in the air to try and get some relief throughout the day. Hoping they go down once the winter months kick into full gear (not that I am praying for them anytime too soon!).

Exercise: Still trying to hit up the barre studio a 3-4 times a week. And then the days I don't make it, I count chasing and wrestling my kids all day as exercise!

Missing anything: A goodnight's sleep!! I already am up 2-4 times throughout the night to pee and then up at least half a dozen times switching positions to try and get comfortable.

Gender: We have our ultrasound appointment set for September 16th. We did gender reveal photo shoots for both Tate and Maddie and I wouldn't want Baby #3 to feel left out :) and so we will be doing a reveal photo shoot later that evening!! I can't wait to see this active little babe will be!

We are still so thrilled and excited to meet you Baby Stevens #3!! We love you already!!
