MADDIE UPDATE

Geoff and I say to one another every day "when did Maddie get this big?", looking at each other with the most confused looks. Last time I checked Maddie was still a baby, crawling on the floor, trying to snatch her brothers' toys. Now she is an independent, little toddler, running around the house and now actually stealing her brothers' toys and then hiding in the corner with the biggest grin of accomplishment on her face. I love seeing her little (and sometimes very big) personality coming out more and more these days! She loves to play with her babies, wipe the walls with paper towels (usually after she has blown her nose in it!), wrestle with her brother, kiss the baby in mommy's tummy and have tickle fights with her dad. She is so lovable and is turning into such a big helper! We love our little ray of sunshine and are so grateful to have her in our family!

Some important stats (as of her 18 month appointment ... only one month late!):

Height: 25 inches
Weight: 24 pounds and 9 ounces

Favorite foods: She thankfully is not a picky eater like her brother, but her favorite foods include: cheese sticks, yogurt, any berries, peas and sweet potatoes, chicken nuggets, peanut butter and cookies during Nursery (I am told she likes to double fist them!)

Favorite activity: reading books, trying to catch up with her brother, swimming, playing outside, riding in the wagon, playing dress up and taking care of her babies

What she wants to be when she grows up: her big brother (he is her idol and she follows him around every day, all day)

Her favorite person: This is a hard time between her brother and dad! She absolutely lights up when Geoff walks in from work each day and it is totally the highlight of her day. In her eyes he can do no wrong!

We love you little Maddie!! You are growing to be a beautiful, smart, clever, inquisitive, perfect little lady and we are so humbled to be able to watch you grow and develop (you can slow down just a little though any day now).
