Today I am sharing one of my favorite breakfast traditions for this season! You have to try it!! They are mouthwatering warm and even better frozen the next morning.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 15 oz. can 100% pure pumpkin
- 3 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 milk chocolate chips (I used Nestle Mini Chocolate Morsels)
Directions:
- Heat your waffle maker to medium to high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and brown sugar.
- Add pumpkin, buttermilk, and eggs and mix gently.
- Mix in chocolate chips.
- Scoop batter onto griddle and cook.
- Repeat steps until batter is all gone.
- Enjoy!!
