Today I am sharing one of my favorite breakfast traditions for this season! You have to try it!! They are mouthwatering warm and even better frozen the next morning.

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 15 oz. can 100% pure pumpkin
  • 3 cups buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 milk chocolate chips (I used Nestle Mini Chocolate Morsels)
  1. Heat your waffle maker to medium to high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and brown sugar.
  3. Add pumpkin, buttermilk, and eggs and mix gently.
  4. Mix in chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop batter onto griddle and cook.
  6. Repeat steps until batter is all gone.
  7. Enjoy!!
